My latest project, this Ca. 1980 Timex 'Red Dot Diver'. At 40+ years old it is definitely vintage. I had to get two of these to make one, one had a good movement and stem, the other had a good case and I replaced the normally flat crystal with a domed one. I think it makes it more modern looking and tool-like. Anyway another Timex saved.

Ooh cool, holy horological superpowers Gary, impressive ! WRUW Wednesday 3/27/24 46145 Yowza, you definitely saved another
Timex, thank goodness for you sir. cheers These watches are becoming less and less easy to find every
day I imagine unfortunately. As they either were broken, thoughtto be broken, and thrown away
years ago right? So it’s a real joy to see you have come to the rescue of this one, and were able
to bring it back to life. Or have a new life ! Very Happy Smile And honestly, I bet the way in which you fixed
this beauty up, it’s better than new, or supercharged sir. Because I know when you do work on
watches you are very meticulous, and let’s face it you know what you are doing. Wink Smile Probably
more than our watchmakers we see in jewelry stores and the like. lol! Wink

I hope you enjoy the heck out of this Rescued Timex G, it looks great from epically cool red
for seconds to strap ! ..Awesome job !!! WRUW Wednesday 3/27/24 933578 bounce
