| I will be kind. After viewing this dial, I suspect Daniel "The Mink" Minkowitz had his brains addled by the arrest of his lawyer and partner in a massive south Florida Ponzi scheme. The crooked Renato investor/owner is expected to plea guilty to fraud charges this week. |

| That is ridiculous, you have to wonder if some of these designers are on LSD when they design these watches. |

| All you hear from Renato fans is how Mink is on 'THE CUTTING EDGE" of watch design. Is that what that is? Now that he isn't copying someone elses designs we can actually see his genius at work. Please spare me! |

Good catch. I've been looking around trying to find what this is a copy of. Most of his stuff does seem to be Roger Dubois or Franck Muller copies. Just hard to find so he doesn't get blasted as a homage maker very often. I think that movement is actually a 5040. I'm surprised Don isn't all over it. He loves him some big date 5040's! |

I didnt even see the watch AH, just the way old Danny works! Seems to take a little from a few brands so you cant pin him down to coping anyone, early on he must have had a huge crush on Roger Dubuis and a few pieces were blatant copies! The guys makes a nice watch but i tired of all the hype and mystery real quick, used to like the wildebeast and thought it was his best design borrowed heavily from the big bang but what hasnt over the last few years!! Think if they guy could have just came out and said he was sourcing his cases and some other parts from China he would have been better off in the long run but these guys that trace their heritage back to Swiss watchmaking just cant or wont do it!! WOW, i can see the picture now!!! WOW, WOW, WOW, quite a masterpiece! |

| Is that actually a watch???? I can't read a single indicator or dial. It looks like my kid threw some bits of metal on a piece of purple construction paper. One thought came to mind...Will it Blend? | |

| I happen to think it is very cool looking. I'd never wear it because it is not my style. But it looks very cool. | |

| Nope do not like. It's the typical 2009 forward design thinking, more is better. I am however old school Renato fan. |

| That new model is just crazy. The Minkster has fallen off the wagon with his latest designs. It started going downhill for me with the Stallion, Jakal, and Cyclops. This new one is even further out, he must be designing jewelry because reading the time does'nt appear to be a priority with this one. | |

Me too - just picked up this non-numbered WB onyx dial over holidays
. . . Now that's a nice Watch!!! Great dial, clean, superb strap . . . . worth another show on those pics. How the hell did a guy go from something that solid to the crap he has out now???? You don't suppose a Cheezy TV sales semi-personality had any influence do you??? I mean, the guy brought us such classics as the "Animal Cracker Invicta Series" . . . . I'm just sayin' . . . . tasteless. |
