| Agree with Duff. When I threw all of my suits in the trash last year, I stopped concerning myself with dress watches. That said, I would have certainly worn that Seiko. Very nice. |

| Its one of the Seiko 6r15b watches with a hand winding and hackable movement. About 38mm. Model # SABR029. They run about $450 new but can be had for $300 or so used. 50 hour power reserve. 50m WR. Usually comes on SS as I recall. Hardlex front and back on that. I own a similar one from that line - they are known as "Spirit" - the 013 model. The movement looks like this Really solid fit and finish - great dress watches. |

| Beautiful choice if you go for one.
Its a japanese domestic 6r15 powered automatic similar to the seiko spirit. I know Seiyasan has the SARB029 which is on a bracelet, but i'm not sure what the model is for the leather.
EDIT-
You beat me to it Doc. |

| Pretty slick looking, but dress watches are also unnecessary in my life. |

| Really a sleek and elegant watch Trevor !..The way the hands look with that triangular sharpness is a nice touch ! The case and dial are DEFINITELY classy and the strap rounds out an eye-catchingly vintage theme ! NICE ! ____________________________________ | |

| Yes it definitely reminds one of a vintage Constellation. I would'nt be surprised if Seiko made the design years ago- maybe even before Omega? I could be wrong but I don't often see Seiko as borrowing design cues from anyone else. | |

There has been conjecture about the origins of the Spirit line. If you look at the Grand Seiko and King Seiko lines you can see definite parallels with the Spirits. My 013 is VERY reminiscent of a watch produced for the Emperor's household in the 1970s with all Grand Seiko parts + extra fit and finish work by the top men at the Epson plant. Frankly, it is my unsupported personal belief that work on such projects is what resulted in the special studio being set up there in 2000. Anyway, there are definite parallels between the components and their arrangement in the Spirits of today and the Grand Seiko and King Seiko lines of the 60s-80s. |

| I'm also not a big strap/dress watch guy but I like this one as well. It really does have a retro feel to it that I like. |

| I love dress watches. That's a really handsome piece. Plus the 6R15 is a great movement (I owned a Sumo when they first came out). Design does look very Omega-esque. Also reminds me of IWC. Classic design. Can't go wrong with that one. |
