Got a little bored in the workshop today, and ended up with this....

"9:00-crown" Seiko SKX 031 mod...For all the lefties out there, or those who just like it a little differently..

Seiko seems to be the MOD watch of choice...

Thank, man...you bet. Seiko's are affordable, easily accessible, most of 'em use the same standard sizes for parts, and there's a ton of custom stuff available. This is the first "9:00" crown watch I've made.

Very cool, I'm really liking all of these Seiko mods. You and Noah do such good jobs on them.

Very cool! Have you ever done a Monster case in the same way with the crown at 10 o'clock?

I was wondering the same thing about the possibility of the crown at 10:00; I'm about to start my next mod, I might try it just for the hell of it!

If you reverse the dial and re-install on a 4 o'clock Seiko, the date will be off. Gotta use one with no day or date functions windows.
