| Great lookin watch Gary. I saw that at WUS. Now tell me Gary, is that actually a Marathon for under $200? Because I've never seen one that inexpensive before. |

I don't know that either....advertised as a genuine Marathon dial and movement, I looked back on WUS and it is suppost to be just that. I really don't know what this thing is.....all the past units that were for sale on WUS sold right away. I need to find this Watchdude Jeff who does them. ____________________________________ Later, GaryRemember we are the caretakers of mechanical art..... | Here's what I found about Rhula or is it Ruhla.... http://www.ephemerol.de/ruhla/index.htm and click on the NVA Ruhlas.... Seems they were a German case/watch maker that specialized in military watches. So this case is made to look like the old Rhula (Ruhla) cases and it a very popular mod for military dials. ____________________________________ Later, GaryRemember we are the caretakers of mechanical art..... | Thanks for the kind words! I agree the strap really does go with this watch, it is nice and soft and looks great. I will have to find something else to use the Zulu on. ____________________________________ Later, GaryRemember we are the caretakers of mechanical art..... | Gary, Thanks for those links for Ruhla and Raven watches ! I didn't know about these companies before, and they seem to be very similar to Marathon watches. Not sure which company started the look first, but it's REALLY interesting ! ____________________________________ | |
