Renato Beast Diver

I recieved my first Renato. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised!

Wondering thoughts review!


If not for the weak G10 movement this thing would rate a 9 or 10 in my book.

The size is great at 45mm. Not too big but still beefy. If you like a heavy watch this thing qualifies.

The fit and finish are very good. I really like the way the bezel is somewhat enclosed by the case.

The colors are great. The blue carbon fiber is understated and not in your face. I like that as carbon fiber is not one of my favorite materials if overdone.

The crown is a bit difficult to reach and unscrew. I can live with that as it's a quartz and shoudn't have to bet set often.

Sapphire is a big plus!

The double deployant is nicely finished but useless on a dive watch I assume. I am not a diver but it sure dont fit over a wetsuit. On the other hand the only time this thing will get wet is when I clean it. [img:c83d]http://bdwf.net/forum/images/smilies/smiley_shrug[1].gif[/img:c83d]

All in all I am very happy with the purchase.

outside, this watch seems to be all about quality. I can't say enough good things
about how GREAT the dial looks. The colors, the deepness of the dial itself, the
hands, numbers, and markers are all flawlessly done. Tremendous bezel, case,
and bracelet too ! It's classy, sporty, and maybe even invincible ! Terrific
watch, and pics ! Congrats to ya, and Enjoy !!!

That's a great looking diver! Renato used to make some very cool watches. That is one of them!
