| This is just for the photos, one is me, the rest are people i dont know. Well, maybe i do, just dont know the names of the divers in the pics, so cant tell. They were given to me from a colleague, and i believe some were on his last job. That is me. We were on a Bounce Dive, and here we are near the surface looking for a leak, that the previous bell run was complaining about. I believe these guys are using a cold cutting tool, to cut through a small diameter pipe. Same thing. I really like this shot. He is welding. Same guy by the looks, but nice picture. Not sure what the dive was. This pic is from an ROV Crane operations, either installing or removing, but judging by how shiny that white flange is, installing! Hope you guys like the pictures.

| More great photos and info. Thanks again for sharing! Still don't think I could wear a Panny doing that kind of work. But then, I dive in the bathtub. |

I bought it as a beater! Its not that i have too much money, i dont, but rather than collect watches like most here, i buy and fix antique watches, so collect them by accident. As for modern watches, i have only 2, one cheapy just to wear for a change. And the Panerai as an everyday watch. It has seen a hard life, but i polish out the scratches, ( i have the gear) and keep it looking good. The croc strap has seen some action, and its still on the watch after these last 5 or 6 years, and going semi strong. I remember my Brother was surprised i took a brand new motorbike, and put it on the track. After all , i explained to him, thats why they built it! |

That is not were you dive, Duff. (rhymes with your name) 'cald, you have to believe the Panny can take it, since that's what they were designed for, and that's one of the reasons they cost what the do, (like Rolex), they're supposed to be tougher than others. It doesn't surprise me the watch has lived that long, I'm really impressed the strap has made it. |

It sounds like a fantastic way of enjoying this hobby ! I was always hoping they would get us that pink fluid like this Abyss, so we wouldn't have to go to the effort of breathing anymore. Most likely costs too much. Its real by the way, they really did that to the Rat! Hey, THAT would have REALLY been something ! I thought that fluid was an unbelievably cool idea. However, I had no idea that it was real, at leat not yet ! Thanks for that info !!! Yeah, its real. I won some money over it too, bet a few divers, ,, I dont think a person has tried it, but the Rat was real, and they held him up by the tail to let it run out. I even remember some do gooder saying on TV at the time, that it was cruel. |

| Great pics! thank you very much for the hindsight. I'm wondering, what type of watches do you around? I guess that not everyone of your colleages dives with a Panny. |

| They submersible has a rotating bezel has a rotating bezel the other series are remakes of the diver that panerai built for the Italian Navy back in the 30's! Most were only rated to 100 meters at the time! |

| I read somewhere that they would unscrew the crown, set the watch at 12, screw the crown back again and then time the dive from "12". But, hey, maybe that was just BS you know. |
