Roland Murphy of RGM Watches gives a preview of an upcoming watch movement from the Lancaster manufacture. This American Tourbillon continues the tradition of excellence that RGM
maintains with American-made movements.

I think RGM have let a huge opportunity slip by.
They can do it, but like their Diver watch, that case is not made by them.

They have a chance, to a Top Quality " Made in the USA " brand, but they dont quite cut it.

Its what the industry needs in my opinion. Competition thats Top notch, but not coming out of China.
300 Million patriotic Americans as a main market, and they fly under the radar.

If your not an enthusiast, chances are you have never heard of them, and the Tourbillion has been done to death in recent years, with Sea Gull in China knocking one out too.
And they are a touch late to that party.

Just my opinion guys, but its a company that has failed to market itself.

True, they could have Kobold build the case since they have the know how and are in the same state! Problems will be pricing, i'm sure this will be major coin and not like the sturhling original tourbillion that shopnbc just sold for a few hundred bones!! Just dont get the whole tourbillion deal, never been proved to keep better time just something all the uber high-end builders are in love with at the moment!

It's great seeing something like this ! The workmanship, and all of
the detail just look incredible. I had seen RGM before, and liked them
alot. Learned more about them recently when Ron talked about them,
along with Tourby watches. They are a bit expensive, but still
REALLY nice. I guess a Tourbillon will be WAY up there ! Still it's nice
to see them trying something like this. Going to have to keep an eye
on RGM !
