I FNALLY bought something...***UPATE***

...but not what you think.

I work in front of a computer all day long, a lap top for work and desktop for personal stuff (like watch addictions). My back has been sore so I decided to get a new chair!

I went from this:



TO THIS:



WHAT a difference!

Much nicer to nap in. I have this in case I fall asleep:

Nice!! I had that same cheap ass gray chair for a while too, then went to the high back leather executive chair..freakin' awesome!

My wife is weird (which is one of the things I love about her ), she's had one of those gray chairs for years, and has had no problems with it, or caused by it.

And I always envisioned you working at this.....

I know you guys will feel real bad for me...

But since I work at home I can wear shorts. That said, my legs were sticking to the leather so I traded for this:



Soft clothe seat (extra wide for my big ass)...

Arms go in or out (for my big ass) and up or down...

Mesh back with lumbar support.

I really noticed the lumber pad a first but after about 30 minutes didn't even notice it.

Much happier with this one!

Does this make me a chair flipper?

I have the HM Aeron at work...great chair! It almost makes the 18 hour days seem like a regular day....I said ALMOST! This is my 3rd one, I guess it has been around 12 years or so with HM...really worth the money!!

Bought mine for working @ home many years ago $850 (fully loaded, size C of course).
Pretty sure they're about the same now. They've replaced it twice no charge.
Once delivered one in the snow from Albany NY to N.Berkshires MA (1hr drive) - and the only thing on the truck.
Now THAT'S CS

Almost like a chair for life w/10yr warranty.
Well worth it for a 10+ hour a day chair.

I got schooled on current furniture costs when I bought that cruiser (recliner) above.
Unbelievable what the good stuff goes for.

My advice never skimp on a work chair, shoes, or tires.

That is why the Big-4 charge the hourly rates that they do...to keep our butts comfortable for hours and hours and hours and hours ....they have hundreds of them!

Good point! My wife had one that was too big and she had to get rid of it. A colleague of mine had one that was too small and couldn't do it either. Get the right size for the right feel. your butt and back will love you.

Got to go with the leather high back, much easier to put your feet up on the desk!
