What can you tell me about Bernhadt?

Ok folks, tell me about the Bernhadt Globemaster.

Mine works like a charm, but doesn't get much wrist time for some reason (I'm always buying new stuff!). Thinking about selling it to buy more!

Doc, went to a couple sites to find out a little about the Globemaster. It DEFINITELY
lives up to Tom's pictures. There were or are a couple different versions out there.
There is a black divers bezel variation, and a 24 hour bezel version. Also a 2826
movement was modified to be a GMT movement. A 2836 movement also had
it's day a date fuctions removed to allow for GMT hand that jumps to the hour.
The day becomes the 24 hour hand !..This is info from ablogtoread.com !
So, basically the watch has all the bells and whistles ! From some great movements,
to well made cases, dials, and bracelets that rival much more expensive watches.

Yeah, I can't really explain it. I wear it about one day every two months. It might be because I previously wore a Pepsi-bezel Alpha. Still have it, in fact. Dunno...

I've been looking at them, obviously, and the Pepsi on the bezel on the one is a bit too much for me but the GMT hand on the Black is way too understated and seems to disappear on the dial in most photos. I think you may be right, swap out the red GMT hand onto the black and it would be really something special.

The bracelet is great - - just what you'd expect. Not sure about total length as I had mine sized way down long ago. The other thing is...mine is the original made by "Bernhardt Instruments" before the partnership dissolved. I don't know if the new company makes them exactly the same.

Just email fred to post up here then let him use your sales forum like he does everywhere else.
As far as the bracelets,those didn't change from the original versions.Still solid endlinks and screwed links
long enough for an 8 in wrist.Spare links can be gotten also from fred.

Thanks Sean. It sounds like a good watch with a solid bracelet that is long enough. The great reports of CS really help too.

I've dealt with Fred on a couple of watches, a used Mido and a new Bernhardt Officer's, both good experiences and Fred's watches are nice!!

Another vote for the company's CS being top notch - excellent.

Oh, and I am warming to the Pepsi GMT......

Interesting find....look at this one closely.....Custom? Does this mean that Bernhardt will make mods to their watches pre-purchase?

. . . . I don't own the GlobeMaster(yet ), but I sure do like the SeaShark I have. Very well done watch from every aspect. Bracelet is a high point for sure. I like the Officer's model as well . . .
