KOMANDIRSKIE!

Just got this in the mail today from Russia. It's a 42mm titanium Boctok "Komandirskie" GMT automatic. I already switched out the strap for this Hadley-Roma "Swiss Army" model. I have two other new straps for it waiting in the wings.

This Komandirskie features a separate crown for rotating the inner 24-hour bezel to mate with the GMT hand. The 31/32 jewel Vostok 2426 movement is behind an exhibition back and was made in Chistopol Russia.

for sure ! The dial color on this, is simply FANTASTIC imho. I think the
way in which the black hands, numbers, and markers show up against
the dial is just GREAT by the way. That GMT hand is perfect, and so
are all of the other accents also. Honestly, think this watch has it all,
from the cool inner rotating bezel, to the case, movement, and that
strap !..Your pictures are REALLY something special as well ! Congrats,

I measured it at its narrowest point - 10:00 to 4:00. It's much wider around the crowns, of course.

I haven't even checked. Lume has never been an issue for me for whatever reason.

Very Nice Tom! Your choice of straps is very complimentary to the overall design and color of this watch. I do have a question regarding Russian, german or any other country for that matter....Is English the language of choice for all the watch makers or is it just used for the watch market outside of the country in which the piece was made.....ie: do the Russians have this watch in the Russian language?

I can't speak authoritatively on this, but I would be extremely surprised if this model was also produced in cyrillic for the 'home' market.
