The Empire Strikes Back Turns 30

Hard to believe, but one of the best, if not THE best STAR WARS movies
turned 30 years old ! ..Anyone remember seeing this movie
for the first time ? What was your favorite part or parts ?

Star Wars doesn't hold the box office record but IS the largest grossing movie FRANCHISE of ALL TIME!

I think that I am on the edge of banning...talikin smack about Star Wars is taboo here at XMT...

I was 17 years old the favorite parts were happening in my seat with the girlfriend!!

..I remember being stunned by The Empire Strikes Back when
I saw it in the theater. The whole movie just had a feel about
it, that just seemed perfect ! From the very beginning you knew
the movie was special, and there seemed to be an ominous feeling
that there was something BIG going on.

Yoda was amazing, and when Luke lost his hand, I suddenly wasn't
feeling so well. Not to mention the whole Darth Vader thing at the
end, along with Han Solo in Carbonite REALLY got me ! There was
alot going on, and you were wondering how it was all going to end
up. I think that anticipation, mixed with using your imagination made
it even better.

Being a Star Wars fan, it's hard picking a favorite movie !
However, Empire has to be right there with A New Hope !
