| nice looking watch, great looking strap but I'm not a huge fan of leather straps on dive watches, but it looks good and most of us don't dive. solid looking case, the name buccaneer, don't like it |

| For a dive watch, the bezel and minute hand is whats important.Thats why Doxa uses small hour hands. These look cartoonish. only the gmt hand needs to be larger for tracking either home time or a secondary time.I don't think the price will be anywhere near the initial offering of the original watch.By adding this movement, figure the price will be closer to 1k. |

| To me the watch is cool, but for a different reason. It's the marketing. Most things pirate are really neat in my book. On the other side of the same coin I would not buy the watch for that reason. It's all marketing. Probably a solid watch, but a similar kind of thing done by many brands today. Market to a demographic by playing up a theme completely unrelated to watches. In this case, pirates.
Sheesh. Still pretty cool looking.

| I like this one alot Mark !!! Excellent case shape, along with bezel ! The mix of numbers and markers is REALLY nice looking as well. Also think the hands are well done too. The orange on the second hand, along with minute hand is great. So is the way the hour and GMThand kind of mirror eachother...Oh and how about that strap ?! Looks like Helson put alot of thought into this watch !..Thanksfor the sneak preview !____________________________________ | |

| Kinda like it's looks but the hands look cheap to me with exposed metal edges it appears. Also, I'm confused (so what else is new) - the dial clearly says "Swiss Made" but the company's website says: "HELSON is a young watch company founded by enthusiastic divers and sport fanatics from Europe and Asia. It is our aim to create reliable and yet reasonably priced diverwatches, combining the best materials with long-lasting and for many years proven technology. " Our production facilities are situated in Hong Kong and we use only high-quality suppliers like Miyota, Tritec Superluminova and ETA. Our watches are designed for the professional application under water as well as for everyone looking for a reliable and sportive watch that meets the requirements of an active lifestyle. We give our best to offer good customer service and are glad about any given suggestions. We want you to have a watch that you are happy with and above all can rely on. If the rare case should occur and you experience any problem with your HELSON timepiece, please contact our sales-staff via e-mail. We will respond quickly and find a satisfying solution for your specific problem. All our watches come with a 12 months limited international warranty." http://helson-watch.com/abt.html |

I was really liking the looks of this watch but I will step aside and let some one else look.

| Its not a bad looking watch. I like the case and bezel but the hour hand and the indices are too large for the dial IMO. It sounds like they may be a little confused provenance wise. | |
