I wore my LM-7 to the outlets today. Both at Tourneau and Jared's, the person helping me, upon glancing at my wrist, said "NICE OMEGA" to which I IMMEDIATELY replied, "it's not an Omega." I gave them the LM-7 back story and again each commented how nice it was and that it looked great on the OMEGA bracelet.
Though I was up front, it felt a little WEIRD having to EXPLAIN the watch...

Just don't respond to them Alan.Saves alot of explaining.If thats what they think it is,then they don't pay attention to the real ploprof in the display case.I can tell the differences at a quick glance.I think the lm-7 is a killer piece.The 47 click bezel certainly gave some intertainment value for quite some time.But from what owners post,it seems its a pretty good watch. Kind of tough to get all of those components and features in one watch for the price its selling for.

My bezel has about 427 clicks (feels like sand it under it) but it keeps great time, looks good, killer lume!

Don't feel weird about explaining the watch Alan !..Each of the people you talked to said they thought the watch was NICE ! Plus the back story for your LM-7 is both interesting, as well as intriguing. It's a special watch, and like you said, it keeps great time, looks good, and has killer lume !..That's a hat trick right there ! ..Enjoy !!!

They call it an "omega" just respond with a "thanks." If they don't, and ask what it is, then tell your little fable.
