| . . . a guy has a Panny. Really nice watch. One day he decides to sell it. Wants something different. . . . OK. . . . I owned some really nice cars in the day. I mean really nice cars, I sure wish I had kept at least one of them. . . at least. I had to have those cars, then another came along. Instead of just buying I dumped as well. Don't know why, I owned them. . . . Gonna miss that Panny??? . . . Well Mr. Brownstone . . . ??? |

| Well, a man might miss a Panny, until he finds a Ploprof... his new hearts desire. (I wonder if his wife is getting nervous with all this flipping? ) |

| I have a potential buyer, from Orlando.
Will be in Tampa tomorrow and wants to meet in person to buy the watch.
I'm excited and nervous at the same time...
Any suggestions?
Should I take a friend with me? ____________________________________

| Has to be a tough decision ! ..BUT..thinking about it, a Ploprof is one of those SPECIAL watches that can REALLY be the pinnacle of a watch collection imo. It doesn't look like anything out there really, and it's an original. It's also made by Omega, which is...AWESOME ! ..So if there was ever a great watch, to have another great watch sold for it,..it would be the Ploprof I think !..It's a special kind of watch that can be enjoyable for a lifetime. Then some time down the road, another Panerai could always be added to the collection again. However, a Ploprof is a one of a kind imho ! ____________________________________ | |

He's finally made that decision, Tom... this one is about bringing muscle with him. Alan, is he bringing cash? |

Alan, is he bringing cash? He said once he sees the watch and it is like I can that he can go to the bank and bring the money back or that I can follow him to the bank and get the money with him... Any suggestions? ____________________________________

| Wouldn't ride with him. Meet him at his bank. Keep the watch until he gives you the cash. Stay on the line with help... |

I have a buddy who said he can go with me... A phone line... you own a cell phone, right? Or wear a wire. Public place... Starbucks, etc. I'd say meet at his bank. Let him see it there. |

| I've done some of these face to face.once with one of the dwf moderators. We met up in cookville tn.At a eatery.Another was done at a starbucks in Ga.I don't think you need to bring anyone along. That can have the buyer get nervous.Just meet at the bank to do this. That way theres people present and also bank security inside and outside via a guard and cameras. |

| . . . you gotta be just a little pensive about letting go of an icon . . . I mean really. . . . Actually I'm having a tug at you. I'm glad you have things rolling and things are going your way. So when do the 7 head for the left bank? Trevor is nail biting here to the 2nd knuckle . . . . . . . I can hear him from the coast. . . |

| Well, the guy was supposed to call me "around lunch time," that was the text message I got at 10:45am...
I have since texted him again at 1:15 and 3:15 with no reply... ____________________________________

| I'm in sales one thing that pisses me off are people who go MIA... ...hearing NO or telling me that you changed your mind won't bother me. But just not returning calls or messages... ____________________________________ | |

But just not returning calls or messages... I know you've been apprehensive from the start about the transaction...maybe this latest situation just validates your gut feeling. I'd send 1 more email/text. If he doesn't reply, I'd bail. Worst case scenario you still have a hell of a watch. |
