You bought that bezel! Was going to let you know about it when i saw it for sale but thought you were happy with the green! For the price it's like a whole new watch!!

Dont feel bad Doc, i bought a 399.00 bracelet for my breitling SuperOcean and then did this to the old one!!







At least you broke even i spent 400 bones and THEN decided i could polish and brush the old one! Was real easy to do after i bought the new one but really had nothing to lose and should have tried it first and if i messed it up bought the new one! Live and learn!!

Honestly, I don't feel bad at all. I'm glad you got it at a price you liked, were able to rehab it, and it fits the U1 and looks so good.

I had to get the new bracelet. I don't know how to explain it but I was so PO'd at the guy that by making him cough up enough and selling the old one to you I could get the watch I was promised (and a bit better) for the same price. It was that or sell the whole thing. Rehabing it was not in the cards with this one as I would not have been able to wear it. If I had messed it up then rehabing it would have made me feel a lot better. Sort of a twisted principle of the thing.

So, we both win.

I hear you, all you wanted is what you bought! Dont know why people just cant say what's wrong with a piece for sale, if he would have said the bracelet has some wear on it then it's up to you to decide! When someone tells you it's mint and in like new condition that is what you expect to receive!

Yes. I also felt stupid and fixing it at the price I intended to pay would have compounded it. By getting him to cough up most of the cash and getting a bit creative I felt better about being taken as a rube.
