Just got my first SO in a trade. I thought it would be fun to see the lume shot side-by-side with my Pro Diver 6030

I like that... big, bold, easy to read retro looking dial. Very nice.

Nice dial! Why is it called the Tuskegee flier? Photo from the Tuskegee Airmen national historic place in Tuskegee, AL

Lume Dials are just TOO COOL !!! SO Tuskegee Flier Icon_cool SO Tuskegee Flier Alien Those triangles
are a nice touch, and so is the 3, 9, and 12 on the dial.
It's the kind of watch that looks just as good in the dark,
as it does in the light. Especially when you see the black
IP on the case, and markers contrasting with the light
color of the dial !..It's one of those times when a watch
looks classy, but at the same time EXTREMELY cool !!!
Congrats to you Spaceview, and GREAT photos also !
..Enjoy ! SO Tuskegee Flier Icon_smile

My best guess it is just a style from the period of pilot watches. Most likely no more of a tie in then that.
