I saw these and thought that they were a little different than your average Seiko diver....

These are Seiko Prospex Solar Divers:

Seiko Prospex Solar Divers SBCB013Seiko Prospex Solar Divers SBCB017Seiko Prospex Solar Divers SBCB015

◆Seiko Prospex Solar Diver Scuba 200m Watch Black
◆Solar (never need battery)
◆Black
◆Date display
◆Crystal glass
◆Stainless steel case
◆Rubber Strap
◆Case Diameter:43mm
◆Case Thickness:11.4mm
◆Water Resistant 200m Meters

It looks like you can pick them up for around $200 - $300 on E-Bay

These may be JDM models as I have been unable to find a US website that carries them.

REALLY liking these Solar Divers Mark !..Kind of like the
Citizen Eco-Drives I guess ! ..Those bezels are very
different, and VERY wide ! Seiko Prospex Solar Divers Icon_biggrin Seems like the bracelets
are the perfect size too. They look nice, and wide from
the pictures, and fit in just right with the size of the
bezel, and case. Patented SUPER Seiko dials on these
also, with the hands and markers bringing it all together !
Have to give them all A's, especially the blue dial version,
with it's eye-catching second hand !..Great watches, and
great prices as well. Thanks !!!

Price seems to have gone up.
They're now selling for $400-$500 on the bay.
Anyone know a more reasonably priced source?

Here is mine, the middle photo one....got it on the Japan Yahoo auction used but in mint shape. came with manual only...strange but then it could have been NOS from some store? Many times JDM models come in ordinary boxes. The nice ones are often for export. Anyways, I am pleased with it so far. It has just enough contemporary bezel bling to make different from the traditional Prospex line. I have had upteen Seiko divers over the years. The size and look and feel is SEIKO. Diver Seiko watches are NOT a big seller within Japan (too big for the average buyer), and only the 007/009 and a few Monsters are seen in stores in my area of Nara City (east of Osaka). Probably the biggest selling diver is the SUMO here....just a guess....
