...I recently read where the person who wrote the "Kukabird sits in the old gum tree" song recently won a lawsuit from the band Men at Work because their song "Land Down Under" was TOO similar to the "Kukabird" song.

That song was out like TWENTY YEARS ago!

In any other industry such blatant copying would result in a lawsuit. Are there any attorneys here who can hazard a guess as to why Invicta is able to get away with this?

Not in my book Boss and for whatever reason this one really pissed me off! Two young brothers works their ass off to bring quality watches to market with new and exciting designs and these douchbags at invicta just steal it and in less than a few months! what this tells me is they buy from replica makers in china and put their name on the dial, nothing more or less! Can you say alpha!

The one thing that we can count on is that there will be design flaws and defects in the Invicta product! It may look similar, but the build quality is far different!

Try to steer clear of invicta discussions, but had to step in, this POS pissed me off. To rip off SUCH a nice watch, in SUCH a shitty way! Their orange color is just pukey, plus the execution cuts so many corners, like that OLD strap we saw YEARS ago...

at least Invicta still lives up to its standard
