Save your money - Go buy a strap.

Well executed - poorly acted.
Pluralizing the title does NOT a successful sequel make (except for Aliens)

Adrien Brody - forget about being the Action Hero
It takes more than speaking in a low whispering growl and a 24hr Fitness membership

Even Fishburn was a let down.
Add to that the remaining B-Listers and you can wait for Netflix, Xbox, or Cable on this one.

If I recall correctly...I told you so. Smile

But I forgot to mention the watches...
Pretty sure Adrein is wearing your Hammy BelowZero in black IP
A Hamilton Ventura is also present but on an expansion style bracelet - gotta get one for mine

for it !..I remember when the trailer came out, was
REALLY looking forward to seeing it. However, maybe
I'll just wait for it to come on cable or something like
you are saying. Thanks for giving us your heads up,
along with review Jaw ! Predators Icon_smile ..On a side note, it sounds
like the watches in the movie got two thumbs up
though ! Predators 803574 Predators 803574

Oddly I liked it. I agree with jaw about Brody and Fishburn, could have been better. But being the geek that I am I did notice some things. They did use some of the original music score from the first Predator movie. Also the machete that Brody used was the same one that Sonny Landham used, a mini gun like Jesse used, and for those who haven't seen it there was a scene reminiscent of the way the Predator used the voice mimic ala Bill Duke.

Also being a comic geek the movie looks like it was loosely based on a Predator comic mini-series called "Bad Blood" where it revolved around a two Predators much like in the new movie. It was the same with the first "AVP" movie. That was based partly on the video game and the first Alien vs. Predator comic mini-series from back in either 1989 or 1990. A lot of people were complaining "Oh, NO WAY would a Predator mark a human as a hunter" but at the end of the comic series that is what happened.

Told you I was geeky Laughing

Agree on the Music completely - as good as the original.
Didn't notice the geek trivia tho.
Guess you out geek me on this one.

As a former SFx guy I noticed the upgraded cloaking transition.
Also the residual sparks on the uncloaking had more detail/depth.

It wasn't all bad. Like I said "well executed"
Music, scene composition (large vistas were nice), good production design.
They must have run out of cash for talent.

I did like the way the used "Long Tall Sally" as the credits started to roll. All it needed was for them to do a voice over with Jesse saying "Bunch of slack jawed faggots around here!" Laughing . That would have cool.
