Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra

Saw this watch at Jarod's today, retail $2800, a customer returned it within the 30 days so is marked down to $1400...







I tried it on and liked it!

It wore pretty big for 42.2mm, I think because of the small bezel...

...is $1440 a good price for the watch?

Because it was returned it only has a 1 year warranty through Jarod's "watch repair"

well yes its a great price, i would think you could make 300 or 400 more on the sales forum! If i had the coin i would send it to you to pick up for me! might let the DWC crew know because someone wants that watch there!

...they had the silver dial but there was a pretty good DING in the case.

Seems like a good price even though it has been worn a while !
According to the review it's a new model, AND has a new type
of movement too !!! Was looking around, and even the smaller
versions of the watch seem to be around $2500 or just a bit
under. VERY NICE !..Kind of like the little brother of the Planet
Ocean, but a little dressier !

Hell of a DEAL! I have seen retail $3K - $3200.00. If I had not just spent some cash on a couple new ones, I'd jump on that one. I think it is 41.5mm. None the less, Maybe I'll sell a couple.......Hey Alan, Can I put it on lay-a-way?

Right, this one has the smooth dial instead of the textured one...

looks like the only difference and look at the list of the new one!!!

Yeah...I am SERIOUSLY considering it....

Good price but too many reported problems with the co-axail movement for my comfort.

Yeah...sleeping on it I realize I was more getting caught up on the GREAT price than the watch...

...but if anyone wants me to pick it up for them, maybe we can work something out.

The new one has the "in house" 8500 movement this older one has the 2500c. That's why it is so cheap.

All of the 2500 movts are being phased out including the Planet Ocean 2500 and being replaced with the 8500 so they can "justify" the high prices.
