Has a SINN look to it...
...for give my ignorance, but are Sinn and Damasko related ala Debaufre/Steinhart? That's a beauty Doc !!! ..The way the color on that bezel contrasts against the dial is out of this world !..Haven't seen that combination much. Always like the finishes on these watches, along with the way in which the dials look also. The entire watch GENUINELY looks AWESOME imho ! Super watch..super link !..Thanks again !!! Was wondering about connections between alot of these cool German watch brands as well Alan ! ..Not sure about the right answer though ! ..Although it seems like alot of people who have any of these brands really really like them ! ____________________________________ | |

| The name “Damasko” has been known to the watch world since 1994 and was always connected with technical research and development. For some time DAMASKO and SINN had been in co-operation. At the end of 2002 they discontinued their joint venture. Sinn began to work with SUG for cases at that time and Damasko went its own way. |

| SÄCHSISCHE UHREN-TECHNOLOGIE GMBH GLASHÜTTE/Sa was established 1998 in the former East German town of Glashütte, which itself has a long tradition in watch manufacturing, and produces watch cases for Sinn and other watch manufacturers.
In 1998, Lothar Schmidt, in conjunction with Walter Fricker (owner of the housing company Fricker, Pforzheim, Germany) and Ronald Boldt (former head of technology and quality assurance of the Glashütte watch operation) formed the watch case company SUG. The owner of Sinn, Lothar Schmidt remains the majority shareholder of SUG.
Like Sinn, SUG tries explore the potential of new materials and some of the more recent Sinn innovations were made possible because of the close links between the two companies. While not all Sinn models use SUG cases, those that do carry the SUG logo between the lugs.

| just read that Sinn watches made all the first watches for Bell & Ross, Mr Sinn even financed the first 500 watches to come out of the sinn factory!Bruno Belamich internship at Sinn and still helped design Sinn watches while sinn built the first series of Bell&Ross pieces in 1994 with a 30,000 dollars investment they both sold tool watches and the B&R team picked an american name for its company and went after the US market! French owners, made in Germany with an American name when they first started! Now they are built in Switzerland at the Chanel factory at La Chaux-de-fonds! This watch business is all intertwined and Switzerland and Germany arent all that big! Still cant find the invicta factory? |
