| Who here uses Nato or Zulu straps? Do you guys have any pictures of your dive watches on these straps? I am thinking of getting some of these. | |

| Zulus and Natos are straps that have never caught my eye...
...and I don't know anything about them.
What is their origin?
When did they gain popularity?
What would make (you) choose a Zulu over another strap or bracelet? ____________________________________

| For me almost all the poly dive straps irritate my skin once it gets hot outside so the nylon is a great alternative for me. Another nice thing is if a spring bar ever goes the watch won't fall off because one will still be there on the zulu ot NATO. And if they get a little funky because of the sweat and dirt just thrown it in the wash and good as new. |

What would make (you) choose a Zulu over another strap or bracelet? I agree, why would you choose Zulu over Nato? Just curious.

They don't do much for me aesthetically (personal taste, of course) but I have one and I have to admit it's incredibly comfortable. Also (except for the 2-piece versions) they protect your watch in the event of a spring bar failure.

| Sweet pics guys. I too own a NATO and Zulu. Both work well on my Great White. I've since moved this black/gray bond to my TAG Heuer F1 and it looks wonderful. I'll try to get a pic tonight. | |

I agree, why would you choose Zulu over Nato? Just curious. I prefer the length of a zulu better. it is shorter and you dont have to loop it around the stay rings or anything, just fasten and loop the loose end back under the ring. Nato's are attach differently too. ____________________________________ M A R K

What would make (you) choose a Zulu over another strap or bracelet? A spring bar could break while in the water or anywhere and the watch will stay on your wrist( one piece zulu or nato strap)! Try that with any other strap or bracelet |
