| I think the first one is Kinetic (auto-quartz) so it has a rotor, the second is a lithium battery...so 10 year life.
I like the yellow dial better than the other one..... ____________________________________ Later, GaryRemember we are the caretakers of mechanical art..... Member NAWCC, National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors | |

| The dial is different on the black one, does'nt say 10 year battery. Probably different movements in the two. I have a Fortis Spacematic which is an autoquartz, the rotor (or pendulum) turns an electrical generator which charges a capacitor to store energy. Some of these movements also use a rechargeable battery to hold a higher charge longer than the capacitor could. | |

| I like everything about this Reactor ! ..It's just an overall cool design I think ! These dials, the cases, those SUPER sized, AND detailed pushers are all OUTSTANDING ! Reactor always seems to make some tough looking, out of the ordinary watches, and THIS one is no exception. ..The case-back on the one version is REALLY easy on the eyes, and the self- charging movement sounds fantastic as well ! ..The first model with the orange chapter ring is especially good. However, that yellow is just perfect too ! ..Guess I mightjust have to get one of each. ____________________________________ | |

| I agree, Wouldn't mind the Limited Edition. The dial is a little busy. Would be better without numbers and just markers at 3, 6, 9 and 12. Would also be CLEANER if the inner chapter ring was the same color. Wouldn't mind making this my first Reactor. | |
