Deep Blue Master 2K GMT

Just a quickie post - no time...

I've been wanting another Deep Blue since my first Master 2k a few months ago.
Waited and looked, watched, and waited some more.
Finally a whole new 2k crop sprang up (Airing on SNBC this weekend).
Various day/date and colors to choose from.

This is a SOLID TANK of a watch in the familiar Chinese 2k case.
Same as the original 2k diver (bracelets NOT interchangeable - perhaps in future).
Like the GMT bezel affording a 3rd time zone in a concise no frill package.
A little early for accuracy assessment - but my expectations are high.

Got a preview of things to come from chatting with Stan (GREAT GUY).
Not every day you get this kind of attention from the owner.
Deep Blue has some great momentum and they are NOT going to squander it.
Very cool T100 tube diver coming and more (made me hold of on my Ball/Marathon hunt)

What A WATCH Jaw !!! I'm happy you could pick one of
these up ! ..It really does look well built ! Solid tank really
says it perfectly. The overall look of these watches is more
than a little impressive. In fact it's pretty much..OUTSTANDING !
The look of the dials is one of my favorite parts of the watch.
I like how the markers are, as well as how they are all together
like this. It's a neat look imho ! Can't do any better than those
BIG hands, along with the second hand, which look like a REAL
cool blue from here by the way. ..That GMT hand has to
be the most eye-catching part of the dial though ! ..You can't
help but stare at it, it's just GREAT if you ask me. Also nice
how you get the orange numbers around the chapter ring
here as well. The bezels on these watches are simply out
of this world TOO ! ..Those HUGE notches around the edge,
let you know this watch means business !!! ..I like those
bold numbers on the bezel also, and how they show up so
well too. Even the crown looks like the perfect size for this
watch. VERY NICE ! ..Have to also add that the finish on
your new Deep Blue couldn't be better either. Seems like
the perfect brushed look ! ..It starts around the bezel, and
case, and then seemlessly flows right into the bracelet
here. Which by the way, also looks EXTREMELY well built.
..In the end, I think that is the main theme with this watch !
It's a really well built, well designed, GOOD looking watch.
Add in the fact that it has an IMPRESSIVE movement, and
what else can you say..this watch IS AWESOME ! ..Deep
Blue evidently makes some GREAT watches !!!

First of all Jeffrey, the cell phone pic is awesome! Love the 24 hour hand on this model as well as the 24 hour indices and how they are placed around the chapter ring. Congrats on a great looking GMT Diver.

cool looking Deep Blue! I like the dial much better than the older models, smaller name, nice hour and minute markers and a cool bezel.

Tom: Yes it is extremely well built. Stan is passionate about his quality and you can feel it. The blue hands are killer (very shiny furnace blued) and very complementary with the other orange appointments.

John: the 24hr hand is one of my favorite features. The blacked out stem of the hand makes it appear to be a floating triangle.

Ron: I like the flat matte dial better too especially the new Logo/Branding - More professional/polished IMO. They are stepping up their game. The newer yet to be released models take this even further. Also like the reverse white on black date wheel.

Keep your eyes on Deep Blue - They are coming for us, and we won't be able to resist. More in this in a later post.

Very nice Jeffery, i too like the much smaller name on the dial! Another sweet piece to an already amazing collection!
