I'm looking for a watch that is either auto or manual wind(solar isn't completely off the table), steel band, and Day date. I've been looking at a couple Seiko 5's. I'd really like to keep the price under $150 also. Any suggestions?

Hi Demetree003 ! Looked over at a website called bluedial.com for some of the Seiko 5 automatics. There really seem to be a ton of watches to choose from, and there are also many different variations of the watches also. I mixed in sizes from 40mm-44mm, and most of them seem pretty sporty. I linked each one of the watches individually, but also put links to the main page at the end. I hope this helps you out in your search ! ..Good luck and have fun !
For the criteria you listed Seiko would be hard to beat. I recently picked up a used 5 Sports auto for well under $100. Not sure if this is a current model though. I'm confident Seiko makes a style you will like in that price range.

Yes I'm really liking the seiko 5 snzf39 model but then i found an Invitca model that i really liked. Keep in mind that I will wear this everyday, work and play.

You need to keep workmanship and quality control in mind. These two companies are light years apart in these categories....Seiko is better by far, in all price ranges!
You may want to consider a Zodiac too...great watches!!
