Oh NICE ONE Dave !!!
This Invicta is REALLY something to see here ! ..I think what makes
it so attractive, is the fact that the watch has a nice balance to it. It has that very very classic
sport dive watch look happening, but manages to introduce a bunch of special, and interesting
features in at the same time also. For example, one of the first characteristics that grabs you in
my humble opinion has to be the bezel.
When you first see it from a distance you think it might
be
black, but then you stare a little longer. and find that it might actually be a
dark blue !!! Not sure if I'm right about that, but it definitely seems like a neat color there. Even seems as though
there are some metallic chips mixed into the paint as well, which helps to start this watch off on
a REALLY nice path imho. Also have to add that the numbers, along with markings are excellent too.
Not only do they seem easy to read, but they also fit in just right with the overall dive watch look
with this watch. Even the size, shape, and edge of this bezel are FUN to look at, with all of the
great attention to detail on it ! ..I think it draws just enough attention to itself, without overs-
hadowing the rest of the watch. You can see that it actually helps show off the size, and shape
of the case here as well. The width, length, and weight look to be VERY substantial, and when
it's on your wrist here, you can see how well it fits TOO ! ..That's a neat characteristic, because
many times a watch might be BIG, and end up not fitting so well as a result. Nevertheless, this
Pro Diver is able to be just big enough, while at the same time being EXTRA comfortable.
Looks like Invicta did a nice job with the crown, and pushers on this one as well. You have that
classic feel once again, but with a slight twist on things, which makes things a little more interesting.
Now speaking of interesting Dave, how about the dial on this one here ?! This is one of those
surfaces that doesn't just find itself onto your average every day watch. Not only is it different,
but it has to be a neat conversation piece I would imagine. Telling someone that you have a dial
that is Out of this World,
would be ALOT of fun to say. Add to that, the fact that it LOOKS
just ASTONISHING, and you have to be very very proud to add this to your collection imho.
Another thing that is so intriguing about these dials, is how they are all different. The streaking
lines, different reflections, colors, and looks are really STUNNING with these ! ..Then to see how
the various parts of the dial show up against the meteorite is excellent too. The classic styled
hands show up REALLY well against the dial, and also seem to blend in at the same time. It's a
very IMPRESSIVE effect Dave ! ..The same effect looks like it happens with the sub-dials, along
with markers also. The finish on them looks as if it almost matches up with the meteorite, and
then somehow stand out just enough to reveal themselves to you !!! Kind of like a cool, out of
this world stealth/phantom theme ! ..AWESOME !
Have to also add that the moon phase
complication works REAL nicely here as well. It looks GREAT, and adds one more intriguing
element to the watch imho. ..Even the bracelet adds some TERRIFIC looks, weight, polishing,
AND brushing into the equation. While the amazingly detailed case-back leads you into a
movement that leaves you speechless ! Woohoo Dave !!!
This really is Out of this World !
Congrats, and of course..Enjoy !!!
Neat watch, Great pictures !
