| ...but this is a sweet looking watch! The case, in 18kt rose gold, or in titanium, measures 43mm X 11.3mm. It has a sapphire crystal and a solid “hunter-type” back inspired by pocket-watches, with a power-reserve display. Movement is the Swiss hand-wind De Bethune in-house caliber DB2115 with 29 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 6 days. The mainplate is hand-decorated and snailed, hand-chamfered and with polished steel parts, finished with De Bethune stripes. Self-regulating twin barrel (the barrels are specifically designed to eliminate friction and efficiently transmit a maximum of energy). It features a Silicon/palladium balance wheel with flat terminal curve (its exceptional lightness enables this balance wheel to reduce mechanical friction and deliver an ideal inertia/mass ratio. The principle of the flat end curve, placed on the same level as the balance-spring, compensates for off-centering and facilitates its fastening). Functions are: hours, minutes, spherical moon-phase indicator at 6 o’clock, a power reserve indication and performance indicator. It has an exclusive three-dimensional moonphase indication by means of a platinum and blued steel sphere revolving on its axis and accurate to within one day every 122 years. | Years ago, my response would have been: "I wouldn't wear that watch to a dog fight." But that's not PC anymore. | |

| These kinds of watches are FANTASTIC imho ! ..They bring together all of the best in watchmaking, and design, with a combination of vintage, as well as modern themes. It's really pretty amazing. On the one hand, you see this elegant case, hands, and movement. Then you notice the sci-fi that is here. The markers, sphere in the case at 6 o'clock, unbelievable case-shape, accents, balance wheel, along with Star Trek- like plate in front like Aztecknight pointed out. All of it is something to see, and enjoy ! ..Can never see enough of these out of this world watches if you ask me. Plus they definitely aren't cookie cutter in any way, which is great TOO ! What A WATCH Alan ! ..Thanks !!! ____________________________________ | |
