Dave, you are seriously getting some SERIOUS watches here !!!!
This Mighty Steelfish of
yours is just MEAN !
Actually it's MEAN, and CLASSY at the same time. Which is an especially
COOL combo imho. The mix of elegance, along with attitude is something that Breitling seems to
be great at, and they really put it all together with the Steelfish. One of the classy elements of the
watch has to be the color that is on the dial. It's a neat satin finish, that also seems to have a sunray
theme too. Add to that a TERRIFIC intriguing color which at times looks white, and other times almost
cream. There even seems like there is some silver in there as well. It's pretty OUTSTANDING ! Not
sure what it actually looks like in person Dave, but it looks REAL GOOD from here.
Another
thing that jumps out at you is how there is a combination of numbers, and dot markers on the dial.
The numbers again have that classy feel, and are extremely nice. While the dot markers kick in a little
MEANESS ! Their size is very noticeable, and they have a sporty dive watch theme in my opinion. It
was a neat decision by Breitling to go with the different styles because it gives the watch the ability
to have alot of elegance, along with some aggressive attitude added in for good measure. Another
smooth part of the dial would have to be the hands here. They have a classic look with a ladder like
theme, as well as dive feel in there TOO. Hey, and the second hand makes things more exciting by
adding in that cool square at the very end of it. NICE !
Actually the whole dial is exceptional if
you ask me sir. The markers, numbers, and hands are excellent. So are all of the various hash marks
spread out all through the dial. Even the chapter ring adds to the FUN ! It makes the dial seem EXTRA
deep. While also having some neat hash marks, and other markings like the upside down triangle.
Which just happens to reflect the same look as the one right above it on the bezel. Woohoo ! THAT
is just awesome also !!! ..Moving to that bezel, there is alot to take in there as well. It's one of those
bezels that you don't forget when you see it. It has everything you would expect to see on a bezel,
but takes things up a level with some signature changes. For instance the deeply etched numbers,
as well as markers are extremely cool. They aren't painted on or put on, they are cut into the steel
which is great. Then there are those raised portions of the bezel at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock
positions. Wow ! Never get tired of seeing those !!!
Even the brushed finish gets your attention
here, and also seems to show a slight angle that the bezel is at as well. ..Also liking the neat screws
that cover the outer edge of the bezel Dave ! ..Actually there isn't anything NOT to like with this watch
to be honest. Just look at the elegant, yet substantial case on this Breitling ! It is not too BIG, or small
on the wrist, bringing ALL of that elegance we talked about before into the fold. While also having just
enough attitude, and probably weight to let you know this watch is the REAL deal.
..No matter
where you look, this watch exudes class, and attitude. One more example of this would be the
bracelet with it's angled links. You just don't see that everyday, and if you do, it's on a Breitling !
Congratulations on having such a classy cool watch Dave !!! Hope you will ..Enjoy !
Super Steelfish ! Super pictures !
