| Looks like this cool new company called H20 has just revealed it's new website. Noticed their Kalmar Prototype last week at Oceanictime, and today news of the website being up, and running comes from TLex as well. The company's focus is to "develop, and manufacture custom products-just according to the needs of their customers." You can basically customize your watch in a variety of ways. From picking which titanium case you would like (bead-blasted, brushed, DLC), to using different bezels, and crown guards. You can even choose a sapphire display window for the case-back if you like. ..As well as choose from twelve different dials. Some of the other specifications of the H2O Kalmar include from 2000-3000m water resistance, Eta 2824-2 movements, a variety of different straps, and more. Here are the links where this information came from where you can see, and learn more.. Enjoy ! http://www.h2o-watch.com/ http://oceanictime.blogspot.com/2011/02/h2o-watch-website-is-live.html A few pictures ____________________________________ | |

| I thought it was pretty cool too Alan, and Chris ! ..Could definitely see one of these in your watch box as well Dave ! Just seems like a really NEAT idea to be able to almost build your own watch like this. Plus with all of the different variations that are possible, you won't actually be seeing the same watch as much either. Glad you guys liked them ! ____________________________________ | |

Definitely seeing some UTS DNA in these Poli ! Especially with the lugs. Awesome observation sir ! Guess other watches are often looked to for inspiration nowadays. Seems like alot of the different options you can choose from do change things up a little with these though. ____________________________________

Hmm, good question ! Seems like it says that you can reserve your watch starting in February. I'm still looking for the actual price though. Might have to wait a little longer to find this out sir. ____________________________________

| not bad tom, but like poli i hate the lugs. ive never seen a watch with interchangable crown gaurds and case backs. i like the size and the movement. they say its a modified 2824 with a blk dlc rotor but they dont say what they are doing to modify the movement. steve | |

Thanks Steve, great points here ! Seems like alot of innovative ideas with this watch, and company. Thinking that more details will hopefully be released later on about how the movement is modified, and that maybe there could be different models down the road that have different lugs. ..That's just a guess though. ____________________________________

| Have to agree that the lugs are a put-off for me but so are the crown guards. | |

It does have a pretty aggressive look with those lugs, and crown guards John. Who knows though, maybe they will end up making a variety of different styles, and looks later on sir. ____________________________________

| The pre-ordering started yesterday for these. I went ahead and got on the list for one. Their site says they should be ready to ship at the end of May or first part of July. |
