Alpina watches in general always seem EXTREMELY NICE ! They just seem really
well designed, and have a very very cool feel about them. These Pilot watches
here seem to have that feel as well. They keep a traditional Pilot's watch look
going with the case shape, and overall look, but add in a few small details that
make the watches more modern. The hand shape, triangle with the hole in it,
as well as the number spacing, and crown style all contribute to some uniquely
cool looks. That case size, movement, and of course miniature plane add to
the fun also ! cheers

Very nice! I especially like the two-register auto/chrono. Wonder where it comes from.

Question: when an Alpina model is "limited" to 8,888 pieces, is that like Ford's "LTD" being limited to the number they can sell? Alpine Pilot Watches... 744742

Always liked this brand. Sure wish it was priced more like Hamilton.
