You can probably tell from my daily watch photos (or lack thereof) that I haven't bought anything lately. I guess I'm just generally feeling pretty content with my collection right now. I'm sure that will change before too long.
However I have been buying several vintage pieces for restoration/resale. Seems like I've been spending a lot of time photographing watches to sell, creating HTML to market them, and scouring eBay (US, UK, Germany, etc.) for new "inventory."
I had a lot of luck last week selling a restored 14K gold LeCoultre from the early 1940s, although the buyer hasn't paid me yet.
Just thought I'd check in and let you guys know I'm still around...

Yep...nice picture!! Hope the buyer comes through for ya! 40's is not my thing though....I like 60's and 70 much better. I like Chevelles better than Model T's too...but I can appreciate both .

It's great to hear that you are content right now Tom, and I think it's also great that you have found yet another way to enjoy the hobby with selling watches like this. You get to see alot of amazing watches, learn about them, take pictures of them, and then sell them if you want to. It's AWESOME ! By the way, looks like someone has won a real stunner right there !!! Super watch, and pic !

Great shot, and am doing the same in Japan ....cherry picking Japanese watches for resale. I want to apply for Canadian permanent status for the wife and forms will cost $1000cad!

I've been active this past week or so, with SEVEN watches in transit and I have my sights trained on another 5-10 in the next week. Just need a little bidding luck!
