Never realized just how SPECTACULAR the Base Jump was until now Chris ! Holy COW !
I mean I have seen pictures of it before, and always thought it was a great Hamilton, but
boy oh boy this is NICE sir.
..You really have some EXCELLENT taste in watches, and
what makes the Base Jump so interesting, is that it combines an aggressive, adventurous
side with a cool stealthy, and classy side. It's honestly a formula that you don't see too
often, or at least one that is done THIS well. In any case, congratulations to you on picking
up such a terrific watch ! ..That very first photo you showed is just beautiful by the way.
Was very surprised by the whole look, along with design on the sides of the case. Think
those cube-like accents give the Base Jump even more attitude to be honest. You really
have to tip your cap to Hamilton with the whole idea there. Not only is it a unique idea,
but it genuinely shows just how much thought, as well as effort in which Hamilton puts
into their watches. Often times when seeing this watch on the various watch websites,
I always thought it just had flat sides on the case. However, with this cube-like design
here, you get a look, and an idea that will stand the test of time imho. One that will
make this watch stand out in a collection, while being appreciated for years, and years
to come sir. ..Even noticing that the theme is also seen on the crown Chris ! NICE !
Hey, and isn't it neat how the bezel of this watch is done as well ?! ..Again, this is a look,
and idea with the bezel that surprises. It's so different, along with memorable that you
can't help but be blown away by the effort of Hamilton. All of the etching with the markings,
writing, and numbers is incredible in my opinion. It's also subtle, and sporty at the same
time because they keep that cool steel finish plain, and as a result it allows you to enjoy
the watch even more. You could really just spend time admiring the case, and bezel if
you wanted to !
However, there is much more to take in, as well as absorb with
the Base Jump. the chapter ring for one is like nothing I have seen before either. The width
of it alone is unbelievable !!! Then you find out that there are some extra nice, and of
course unique numbers on the chapter ring. That font, along with overall style is amazing.
So are all of the intriguing hash marks in between them by the way. It's hard to imagine
that the watch could get much better, but it does with the dial. You have that same font
with the numbers on the dial, that were on the chapter ring. Each separation in the numbers,
along with that brushed steel look just makes the watch reach new heights at every turn,
and the way the hands look is spectacular as well. Maybe that is what the theme of this
Hamilton should be ! SPECTACULAR ! You just don't see watches like this every day Chris,
and if you do, they probably would be very very expensive. From the outstanding case,
and bezel, to the numbering, and hands on the dial. Even the multiple levels, texturing, and
way Hamilton is written on the dial is spectacular. Super strap ALSO ! Congratulations once
again Chris ! Enjoy this one !!!
