Helson handled this badly. I was on the fence when I realized the sharkmaster was a blatant copy of an Omega, but this pretty much guarantees I won't be buying one until they can prove they've put quality control processes in place.

And yes, I am amazed at the geek mentality of people. Proof positive that you don't have to be a member at WG to be a geek.

I cant believe some of the helson fans responses, Its like they are o.k. with it, or some think it just isnt true. If a watch say's its a 1000 m w.r. it better damb well be !! Reminds me of the invicta day's. thats why i pay for the higher end watches, you have a lot less headaches. I dont know if i would have went on as many forums as the o.p. and told the story, but im glad he did let us know the problems he had. It will be interesting to see the price of used helsons in the near future??? I have to say i realy liked the look of that new skindiver and was realy tempted. Steve

Steve I'm not understanding how EVERY1 IS'NT PISSED ABOUT THIS ENTIRE SITUATION..People r sticking up for helson w/ I'm perplexed as to y????? Other people r accusing the OP of purposely destroying his watch, y would some1 buy a watch just to destroy it throwing $$$ down the drain ???Then again I have seen people bash just to bash..I'm confused on the whole issue.... I'm glad I stepped up my game w/ tried & true TIMEPIECES........

Im with you william, I just dont get people like that. They will defend a company that dont give a rats ass about any of them??? All this guy did, was to give all of us a heads up about a problem that was handled wrong and should never of happen and for that most these guy's want to linch him???? Go figure

I guess i dont have much of an ego?? Because not only did i feel stupid for buying all those invicta's I WAS !!! LOL !!!! To those of you who like invicta this is just my opinion and how i feel, so please dont take it personal. Steve
