Hey everyone, found this cool vintage Timex commercial while looking around for
watch videos. They attach the watch to the bottom/front of a speed boat. Here
is the video. I hope you enjoy !

Now that was cool Tom,I would love to see more watch co. doing adds like this.

If you look around the internet you can find all the old Timex ads...the diving horse, the boat motor, cliff diver....even the world ugliest woman ad. Great ads, great watch.....just do a search for vintage timex on you tube....

They play all the time at the Timex museum....they even have the original test tank with boat motor, tank is full of Marlins...

Horologically, Timex can be proud of its company. An internet friend belongs to the Timex forum and you would be surprised at many cool Timex models! I found one here several years ago, 1970s handwinder likely made in Taiwan then! I gifted it to my friend for his collection

Steve, I thought the same thing ! Would really be fun to see watch companies having
these kinds of commercials today. ..Definitely would be memorable if they did, that is
for sure.

Thanks Gary, and Thian for the Timex information, and pictures also by the way. Really
is cool seeing some of the older ads, and this Timex Museum looks, and sounds like it
would be a blast to visit. ..The forum sounds awesome too ! There has to be alot to
learn, along with different models to see like that handwinder you are mentioning Thian.
