New Deep Blue and Nautica spotted Empty

First up is the Deep Blue Diver T100 Daynight, which seems to come in a variety
of dial choices. The case measures 46mm, is water resistant to 300 meters, has
Tritium tube hands, and markers, and is powered by an automatic Seiko caliber
NH25 movement. Here is the link where this, and more can be found..

The next watch is the Nautica NMX 600 Diver. This watch has a 50mm stainless
steel case with 100 meter water resistance. It also has a mineral crystal, along
with a Japanese quartz inside. Here is that link as well..

I like the Deep Blues, but the Nautica not so much. Someday I'll find a quartz movement in a watch I just must have. Until that time I'll stay 'old school'. Wink

Interesting...the Deep Blue design is traditional but the use of trit tubes is great! Depending on pricing, I'd buy one. The auto NH25 is used by JakeB in his Dagaz-Zero watch.
I have a Nautica art deco style watch and the quality is good, Miyota movement. 50mm is a bit over the top IMO.

You are right Rick, that Deep Blue is nice. The Nautica seems to have kind of
a futuristic dive watch look to it, and the way they fit that quartz in the center
is interesting. Speaking of quartz, have you seen the Bulova Precisionist watches ?
The second hand sweeps smoothly like an automatic does with them. In any
case it's definitely hard to beat 'old school' ! New Deep Blue and Nautica spotted 803574

Thian, have to agree with you as well. The way the Deep Blue has that classic
dive watch look to it is TERRIFIC. ..Then how they added in the tritium tubes
changes things up a little too. Thanks a lot for the info on the NH25, and it being
used in the Dagaz-Zero also. By the way, your Nautica sounds like a like a very
nice one there. Smile

Here is the Nautica, my first....loved this particular design and traded it for a new Seiko solar diver....

Not so liking the Nautica (fugly and too big IMO) and the deep blue doesn't look much different than all its predecessors other than the blue color on the bezel......the DB is good looking but just not exciting enough to make me jump.

Nautica isn't doing anything for me.

The DB however, has a nice retro bezel on this one.
Also like the micro minute markers - and T100 tubes of course.
May check out the silver for a live look and SNBC only low price.
Just depends on what that price is.
Gave the 1 Invicta NH25 I had to Goodwill.
Not a bad movement - quite responsive actually, but no hack or wind.

Hey Thian, that is a neat looking watch, along with picture. I like how it has that Omega
De Ville feel with those rings on the dial. ..Those numbers are nice too, as is the unique
crown protector, and even though you don't have it any more, you ended up replacing
it with another great watch sir. New Deep Blue and Nautica spotted 803574

Looks like the Nautica is going for a retro/futuristic look maybe John. The size is probably
a little big like you are saying also. I wonder whether they will make smaller sizes with that
one down the line. With the Deep Blue, I think they wanted to bring more of that vintage
dive watch spirit, together with some modern twists. Smile

Jeffrey, I see what you are saying about the Nautica. Looks like it's finishing behind the
Deep Blue so far, and those bezels you are mentioning are very nice. I like how each
variation seems so different from the next. For example the orange, along with blue
versions seem extra sporty, but the black, and silver ones bring in the classic feel a
little more. ..Also liking those markers, as well as tubes sir ! I hope that you can pick
up that silver one. That one IS nice ! Very Happy Thanks for the cool info about that movement
by the way.
