I had to go to an antique show yesterday afternoon and slipped on a little something I picked up in my travels last month...it's not Russian, but I does start with 'R'. I didn't have time to post an update yesterday...so I slipped it on for a few minutes this morning as well just to be proper. It's a 1970 Ref. 1550, non-quick date set (now that seems like a Russian watch), gold capped stainless, 14kt crown and bezel. My Russian for today is the Poljot Aviator Formenko manual chronograph....these were made about 2004 and were designed in cooperation with Russian GT racer (and actor, etc) Nikolay Fomenko.
