Wow Rick, this IS beautiful !!!
Can only imagine how hard it must have been for you
waiting for this one. The history of it, the amazing attention to details like the case, dial,
movement, and even strap are out of this world. It's one of those watches that seems
to genuinely surpass all of your expectations.
..On top of that, the watch looks to
be in SPECTACULAR shape ! It's unbelievable ! You would think that the watch had just
been built by the look of everything. This one is a REAL Masterpiece sir ! Congratulations
to you on adding it to your collection ! ..There is just so much to see, and enjoy with
this Heuer Rick. To be honest, it's just neat learning about the vintage Heuers like this
one. They all have so much character about them, as well as be incredibly well made,
and GREAT looking. It's easy to see why you enjoy them so much !
All you have to
do is take a look at this dial with it's exciting blend of sport, along with class to understand
the hard work that went into the watch. Each marker, hand, shape, and detail seems
to have a purpose. Can't get enough of the chapter ring/tachymeter for example with
it's width, numbering, and red accents. That REALLY helps to set the watch off in it's
sporty direction imho. Even the markers, hands, and hash marks add their own touch
of energy in. At the same time though there is quite a lot of class, or elegance which
is happening. Maybe it's the style of the hands, or the fineness of the hash marks.
Maybe it's even the way the sub-dials are designed, and bring a classic racing feel
to the watch. In any case, there is A LOT to enjoy ! ..Something else that really grabs
your attention with this classic Heuer Rick is the shape of the case. At first you think
that it is round, but then you begin noticing that there is more than meets the eye.
It has that vintage attention to detail at every turn with various angles, and slopes
revealing themselves. The flattened area right near the crystal is just great, and it
it's a subtle detail that almost seems to point you right toward the dial, while at
the same time being an important detail within the case. Think it even helps you
to enjoy that extremely nice crytsal TOO ! ..Another part about the case that ends
up catching your eye is the sloping of the sides. That right there is THE best, and
definitely brings in the perfect vintage feel. Even those pushers, along with crown
on the left side make this Heuer become more of a MASTERPIECE ! However, it's
that unbelievable finish on the case that brings it all together. It's cool, mean, looks
almost indestructible, and works perfectly with arriving on "Black Friday" as you
ponted out.
It's just out of this world, and a masterpiece Rick ! Congrats, and
