Have you had a chance to see Hamilton's Khaki X-Patrol yet?! It has the special H21 automatic
movement inside, which is an upgraded Valjoux 7750. There is a 60 hour power reserve, and it
is supposed to be very accurate. The X-Patrol also has a slide-rule bezel, and has a metric to
imperial scale. The case measures in at 42mm, while the crytsal is an AR coated sapphire. Water
resistance is 100 meters. In addition the watch comes with either a black, or silver dial that reallly
shows off the nice detail in the sub-dials, and hands. Plus there is the option of a metal bracelet,
rubber strap ($1345) or a leather strap version. ($1295)

You can find out a lot more, as well as see more of the X-Patrol at ablogtoread.com where this
info came from at this link here...

I love my Hammies and agree with Ron on their quality, affordability, and variety. But IMO they pimp out the X-Wind case/dial designs as bad as Invicta did the SANIII. Just too many permutations and some poorly done - bringing them all down. Yeah, these look pretty good with the new smoother contours/pushers, but I'll pass and stick with the original thanks.

Ron, even though I don't have a Hamilton I have to agree with you sir. There is just something
special about their watches, and their history imho.

Really cool video too by the way ! Thank you !!! Hamilton's new X-Patrol 803574

Jeffery, you definitely have some excellent Hamiltons, and I can see where you are coming from
with the newer designs. Guess sometimes watch companies try to come up with different ideas,
and there is a fine line between what works, and doesn't for everyone. Thanks ! Hamilton's new X-Patrol 46145

Alan, great point as well here. There is a lot going on with this one like you are saying. Maybe they
will add different variations later on. Thanks again ! Smile

Not a bad looking watch at all, and reasonably sized at 42mm. Even as a pilot, I have no use for a slide rule bezel. But when did functionality enter into the obsession anyway?
