| Have you had the chance to see this new Omega everyone ?! The Omega Spacemaster Z-33 has a special dial with digital display, along with analog hands that can be read in any condition, and even if a pilot is wearing polarized glasses. It's case reminds you of the legendary "Pilot Line" case, is made of grade 5 Titanium with polished, brushed, and sandblasted parts. A new quartz multifunction movement named the Calibre 5666 is also used. There is a main crown at the 3 o'clock position, along with four other pushers that control the digital features. Every- thing from the date, to alarm, perpetual calendar, UTC, and time zones, elapsed time, as well as professional pilot functions. There is even a nice polished Omega Seahorse on the case-back, along with much much more which you can see at Perpetuelle.com where this info was found. | I agree with jaw....the case design has hidden lugs and the digital window are linear. Red readouts are okay...Crown design is traditional like the Gen1 X-33, where as the Gen2 was modded for gloved hand. Just got my Gen1 returned from a battery change... Montage X-33 Lamborghini by thianwong1, on Flickr The Gen2 got a less high polished bezel, different lume pip and crown design change... montage x33 moon by thianwong1, on Flickr | |

| I wonder if any of the armed forces will buy into the new watch or any of the NASA crews in the future...so far as I can sense, the X-33s will be THE tool watch used in space. Of course those with the funds will buy into it. Look at the special Seiko Space watch...it was selling for up to $20,000usd - but it was one of a kind and meant to showcase Seiko technology. | |

| Reading WUS Omega posts, the majority of guys don't like it...too thick, retro case design etc..... Price to be $5,900.00, which isn't so outrageous, really. On the Japan auction, a NOS Gen1 or 2 can sell or that!!!!! I do prefer the circular LCD style instead of the linear red windows, which are 99% used. When the X-33s came out in 1998, many thought they were ugly for an Omega haha! This new Z-33 has Thermal Compensation in its 1566 caliber which should give it an accuracy of around +-5 to 10secs/year. Some posters think this is like the Omega large Plopoff, a white elephant but then becomes so collectible! | |

| Oh NICE Thian ! Hadn't seen that video sir. Thank you very much ! It's incredible how many cool features this watch has. Also like how it looks vintage with the case shape, but then gets really futuristic when the backlight light lights, and those hands start moving. Neat stuff ! ...By the way, TERRIFIC picture of your's as usual with the watches, and car ! ____________________________________ | |
