G'Day Watch Lovers -
I have my grandfathers automatic Seiko 6309 8040 - and I need a new band, and faceted glass for it -
Are there any pointers as to where I could find such parts? I have sent it to Seiko in Sydney, and they said theres nothing they can do because its too old. I have scoured the Internet - but to no avail.

Post this question on "thewatchsite.com" . That is a community of Seiko and Citizen psycho WIS!
I believe that there is a member there that specializes in NOS Seiko parts. Do a search on their project watch...I believe that they listed some of the 6309 parts resources.
