Ever seen a Junghans Chronoscope in the wild?

I haven't, but I'm very tempted to try one out. It's actually called the Max Bill Chronoscope, after the designer who created it. They're very hard to find on the used market and brand new they're well over $1,500.00. I prefer the black dial model myself. Although it's "only" 40mm wide, the bezel is so narrow it wears much larger. Valjoux 7750...of course. Here are a few shots from the web:

It's something to see how that thin bezel that you mentioned makes this watch look.
Really does seem like there is a lot of dial to enjoy. Plus the whole style of the rest of
the watch with the case, and pushers is terrific. Even the crystal is very nice with how
it acts like a bubble over the dial similar to many vintage watches of the past. I really
hope that you get a chance to try one of these Junghans out soon Tom.

Have'nt seen one of those myself, your thread title reminded me of the Junghans Vista Chronoscope I have been looking to acquire for several years. The Max Bill series is a little dressy for me but has a classic style to it that is timeless. A member here (mrneddles) has the watch you posted-in black dial, you might inquire from him any information you seek.
