This is a quick note to say hello to Members. I am pleased to have joined you and hope to learn much from experienced collectors. Although I have loved watches for many years it is not my specialist subject and so will be grateful for any assistance if I should have any queries. Amongst watches I have are a Longines automatic diver's watch from 1959, a Timor WWW from the 1950s, a modern Seiko Sports 100 from 1980 and a GMT Master with black bezel from 1974. I have almost no money these days so I am constantly on the look out for cheap watches from swap meets - yard sales - car boot (trunk) sales - junk shops etc.

Welcome from the other side of the pond Laygra! Hope you stick around and share some watch wisdom.

I'd like to see a picture of your GMT.

Sounds like a great collection...many of mine from junk shops or garage sales.

Welcame. Laygra. Many "barn finds" turn into family heirlooms. Post some shots of your pieces, nothing fancy required.
