Anybody see these cool new Mondaine watches recently?
There are four of them which are evidently set to be unveiled at the upcoming Baselworld. There is the
Mondaine Stop2Go which has a special movement named the Mondaine Caliber 58-02. This quartz
movement uses two synchronized motors instead of the usual one. One motor is for the second hand,
and the other is for the minute hand jump, along with hour hand. A sweeping second hand will move for
58 seconds, and then will stop, and wait for the minute hand to move on. Similar to the Swiss Railway
clocks used by Mondaine over the last 70 years in Switzerland. The case on the Stop2Go is stainless
steel, and 41mm. It also has an AR coated sapphire crystal, and 30 meter water resistance.
