Malchert watches

Check out this new watch company called Malchert from Quedlinburg Germany everyone. The man behind
the name is Daniel Malchert, a fourth generation watchmaker behind is great-grandfather Georg, grandfather
Georg, and father Axel. At a very early age Daniel was interested in watches, even taking them apart when
he was in first grade. Later he worked for companies like Nomos, and Wempe, and now begins his very own
brand. The first watch, named the Schlossberg, is named after an historical church in Quedlinburg, and uses
a three quarter plate: Nomos Caliber Alpha movement. It has a 36 mm polished case, along with unique hands,
beautiful craftsmanship, and much more.

The Malchert Schlossberg (3,000 euros) is an elegant new offering from Malchert Watches, a new company out of Germany, but one with a rich history. Founder Daniel Malchert comes from four generations of watchmakers, and that heritage and know-how is on display here with the attention to detail. The 36mm 316L stainless steel case contains a Nomos Alpha movement with 100 individual components working hard to tell you the time; the least you can do is wear it.
