| Beautiful watch Thian ! Kind of has a neat nautical feel to it with the look of the bezel/case, and dial. How long have you had this by the way? Beautiful once again ! ____________________________________ | |

| thanks, Tom. This is one of the Age of Discovery (of the USA) series started by Seiko in 1992. They made many models with all calibers but the lug style was the pervading feature. On the back is engraved the ship Nina or Pinta? The series went on for about 8 years as is common with Seiko. I found, bid and won it on the Yahoo auctions several years ago. The wife liked it so I 'lent ' it to her haha! The model has a very good kinetic 5M45 movement and it works fine, unlike some lesser 4M43s. The watch is GMT and the inner circle is full lume! lighting up the continent. The green strap is OEM but should be replaced due to ageing and cracking. | |

Fantastic isn't it Gary?! The globe design/theme is really so nice, and different. Thian, you are very welcome. Thanks for all of the information on this beauty by the way. Really is such a unique looking watch, but with a really neat story behind it as well. Glad you, and your wife have been enjoying it together. So cool ! ____________________________________ | |
