Anyone catch these two new watches from Alpina? They are part of the new Alpiner 4 collection, and include
both a chronograph, and GMT model. The "4" has to do with the four essential sports qualities with a watch
which include the stainless steel of the cases, waterproof to 100 meters, anti-magnetism ISO 764 norm, and
also anti-shock properties of ISO 1413 standard. There's actually a fifth quality, or essential too which is a 360
degree turning-compass bezel.
The movements for the watches are the Alpina AL-860 automatic chronograph movement for the chronograph,
along with Alpina AL-550 GMT with Alpinas in-house GMT/24H module.
