Interesting news from Y3...

Evidently Zinex has received some pressure regarding its name from another company for trademark issues. They will be changing their name and their website will be changing. Here is a link to Y3 with more detail as well as other needed info...

Wow..THAT is really something else ! It's odd because Zinex was and is it's
own company, who have their own theme ! Most people who are into watches,
especially dive watches know about them. They would not confuse them, and I
don't think others would confuse them with another company. I know something
happened like this with Steinhart having to change their name to Debaufre before.
However, I think if a watch company honestly has an original name, that is not the
same as another company..then it should be OK !

In the initial post it says they were contacted by a well-known watch conglomerate. Could be Zenith which depending on pronunciation sounds vaguely similar.
