Just got this old orange Seiko. Its a 7005 series watch which dates to October 1971 according to the Seiko calculator. A little on the smallish side at 39mm (probably considered huge for the day). The bracelet even fits my 8" wrist. Seems to be in very nice shape overall-although there are some scratches in the crystal visible in indirect light. Second hand sweeps smoothly around the dial and it seems to keep accurate time-over a few hours anyway. Here are a few quick pics. It gets dark very early these days so no natural light.

No fog here today. Its weird where it hangs out sometimes. I went flying last week and when I checked the weather, it was still fogged in at the Hillsboro airport at noon.

Orange is not my color but I do like the style. Yes. 71 is vintage.

Yes..I'd say this watch is vintage ! Congratulations to you on getting this one. I really like that case, it's incredibly smooth looking. The bracelet also follows that same theme, while the colorful dial takes the cake !..VERY nice watch, I hope you enjoy it !

I've timed the watch for 24 hours now and its gained 20 seconds-running smooth though. For a watch that was made when I was 7 years old thats not so bad.
