| I've flown into Portland several times, always loved that view.
Very nice shots while keeping the other hand on the yolk. |

| Whoa Mark THAT is cool ! Beautiful shots you took there !!! It's awesome that you know how to fly. Congratulations on that, as well as living in such a great area ! By the way, the blue dial on your watch is really something else ! So are Mt. ST. Helens and Mt. Adams ! Excellent pictures once again ! Thanks for showing them to us ! ____________________________________ | |

Quick pics, not even looking in the view finder. To open the side window and actually look through the view finder takes too much attention. Do that and your inner ear starts telling you the plane is about to enter a steep uncommanded bank. Can't really take any good pics unless I fly with another pilot who can take the controls.

| Must feel amazing to be able to fly, be in control...
...I suspect LANDING can be quite a rush too. ____________________________________

I like the way you're doing it Mark. Most of the people I've taken flying are scared to death to open the side windows to take clear pictures even after I've shown them how to do it in the preflight. Ask most of them to hold the yoke so I can take a pic or two without entering a steep bank and they'll have nothing to do with it. Alan, landing is'nt that hard but it's the single most important skill.
